The occupants of a Peugeot 106 that rolled into a field on Military Road last night (Sunday) have walked away without serious injury.
The incident is understood to have occurred at around 21:00 when the small blue hatchback left the carriageway.
Despite significant damage to the vehicle – which is thought to have rolled at least once – no persons were trapped and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were not mobilised.
It comes just days after a Citroen Saxo came off the road at Downend and also came to a stop in a field. The occupants of that vehicle also walked away without any significant injuries.
The vehicle remains in-situ this morning.
