UPDATED: With polling stations closed a count is this morning (Friday) underway to determine the next Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Ballot boxes from across the Island are being opened and counted at Medina in Newport.
UPDATE @ 18:32 – Michael Lane has been declared the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
