UPDATED: Police are appealing to members of the public for help in identifying a lady who has been found in a confused state in the Wootton area.
Officers are currently working to ascertain the identity of the woman, who was discovered whilst walking her dog this afternoon (Sunday).
Although the lady is safe and well and being cared for at St Mary’s Hospital, Police are yet to establish her identity.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101 as a matter of urgency.
UPDATE @ 19:57 – Police and St Mary’s Hospital have now been informed of the lady’s identity, thanks to an Island Echo reader who recognised the lady concerned.
