A busy Ryde bar has been given permission to carry out it’s planned live music events this summer following a licensing sub-committee meeting.

The Isle of Wight Council’s licensing department has granted a Temporary Event Notice to Joe’s, situated in Union Street for three separate dates, allowing them to host live music events on 16th June, 13th July and 18th August.

Noise disturbance has been highlighted as a potential problem by Hampshire Constabulary and after discussing the issues at the licensing meeting on Monday, a condition that the front doors to the building must be kept closed after 10pm has been put in place.
