Isle of Wight shooter Richard Green was part of the England team that won the 2024 World Field Target Championship.
Richard shot 47 on the 1st day of the 3-day event in Mesa, Arizona USA.
A further Isle of Wight shooter Andrew Winch also competed, coming in 69th place, with scores of 28, 35 and 35.
The England contingent completed in 3 50 target courses, over 3 days.
After Day 1, England had an 11 target lead over the USA, with Wales in hot pursuit.
With everyone playing their part, England maintained a lead over the 3 days of shooting. The top 3 England shooters score counted each day towards the teams final position.
