A huge Oktoberfest celebration is returning to Newport following the sell-out success of previous events – with discounted earlybird tickets now available through The Price Is Wight.
GG’s is set to host 2 nights of Bavarian-themed partying on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October 2026, bringing traditional oompah music, German beer and lively entertainment to the Isle of Wight.
Inspired by the world-famous Munich festival, the event promises live music, dancing, DJ entertainment and Bavarian-themed hospitality, alongside food and drink options available throughout the evening.
Organisers say the celebrations follow the huge success of 2 previous sold-out events.
Entertainment will include the return of the London Oompah Band, with guests encouraged to dress in traditional Oktoberfest attire including lederhosen and dirndls.
Very limited first release earlybird tickets are available from £10, with discounted standard tickets priced at £12.50.
A VIP package for 10 people is also available for £450, including reserved front table seating, souvenir glass steins filled once with German beer, table service throughout and a Bavarian buffet.
The event runs from 18:00 until 23:00 on both evenings. Food, drinks packages and additional souvenir steins will also be available to purchase on the day.

Great event, might be a good idea for buses to take
persons to and from the event, better than persons
drink driving.
No one went last year…
But where is it?
