UPDATED: Foggy conditions are causing disruption for cross-Solent travel operators this morning (Tuesday).
Wightlink have cancelled the 08:30 car ferry sailing from Portsmouth and the 09:30 from Fishbourne as a result of the adverse weather.
Hovertravel are advising that crossing times between Ryde and Southsea may well be affected this morning due to the fog. They are running with a 15 minute delay to their revised timetable at present.
Red Funnel have not reported any delays or cancellations but say it is probable that its Red Jet service may encounter delays due to expected dense fog, causing extended crossing times.
UPDATE @ 08:32 – Wightlink say that the fog has now lifted, allowing the 08:30 and 09:30 sailings to operate as planned.
