The Environment Agency have this morning (Wednesday) issued a flood alert for the Isle of Wight coastline.
A forecast surge height of 0.16m is expected, which could pose a threat to coastal properties and low laying land with a high water level of nearly 2m this lunchtime.
High tide is due at 13:40 with a Force 5 Westerly wind expected.
