UPDATED: Fire Crews from Newport were called to reports of ‘lots of smoke’ on Pyle Street this afternoon (Wednesday).
Fortunately, upon arriving at the reported location, crews soon realised the smoke reported was from a bonfire and there was no cause for concern.
(It was initially reported that the incident had taken place on St James’ Street, but it has now been confirmed as taking place on Pyle Street)
