The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are tackling a fire at a property in Brading this afternoon (Tuesday).
2 appliances from Ryde and Shanklin are currently on scene at Clarendon Close off Morton Road.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have entered the property through a front door window pane armed with a hose reel.
It is understood that the fire has originated in the kitchen.
The alarm was raised at around 13:00.
UPDATE @ 13:28 – A pan left on a cooker is thought to be behind the alert.
The fire has now been extinguished and the property ventilated.
There are no reported injuries.
Fire crews are now bringing the incident to a close and are expected to leave the scene shortly.
