Firefighters, paramedics and Police have been mobilised to reports of a property fire in East Cowes this morning (Thursday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to a residential address on Hendy Road at around 11:25.
2 ambulances from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are also on scene alongside a number of Police officers.
Fire appliances from Ryde, Newport and East Cowes are in attendance alongside the Incident Command Unit from Newport.
UPDATE @ 11:55 – The situation appears to be under control, with a number of assets now departing the cul-de-sac location.
It does not appear that a fire has been located.
Police remain in attendance at the bungalow. Hampshire Constabulary has been approached for a statement.
