FOUND: David has now been located, Police have confirmed.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 68-year-old David Gunning, who hasn’t been seen in over a month.
The pensioner was last seen in the Newport area at around 9:00 on Friday 14th November. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary says it is growing increasingly concerned for David’s welfare.
Officers investigating his disappearance have been undertaking extensive enquiries, including reviewing CCTV across the island, liaising with partner agencies and the local ferry companies, and searching rural locations to locate David.
To date, Police have been unable to establish whether he has left the Island and are now turning to the public for help.
David is described as white, 6ft tall, or slim build with grey, short hair and grey stubble. He has tattoos on both arms.
It is believed he may be wearing a jacket, dark trousers, and black trainers.
