CONCERNS GROW FOR CANADIAN WOMAN MISSING AFTER ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL

UPDATED: Concerns are growing internationally for the welfare of 32-year-old Michelle Pelletier, who has gone missing after attending the Isle of Wight Festival over the weekend.

Michelle, a Canadian national, was last seen at the festival in Newport at around 02:00 on Sunday morning (24th June).

Her disappearance has been reported to the Police who are now carrying out a number of enquiries. The Canadian Embassy are also said to have been alerted to the situation.

More than 44 hours have passed since Michelle was last seen and both friends and relatives are worried for her welfare.

Michelle Pelletier is described as being 6ft tall with blonde hair. It is thought she travelled to the Island via Hovertravel on Thursday and she is due to fly back to her home country later this week.

UPDATE TUESDAY @ 09:00 – Michelle remains missing this morning with no further developments overnight.
