UPDATED: Concerns have been raised for the welfare of a mum from Lymington who was last seen at Yarmouth’s Old Gaffers Festival on Saturday night – nearly 36 hours ago.
Rebecca Allan had been enjoying the celebrations at the annual Old Gaffers Festival in Yarmouth on Saturday but failed to return home as planned, sparking friends and family to become very concerned and launch a social campaign for information.
Rebecca was last seen in the town at 23:00 has now been recorded as a missing person by Hampshire Constabulary, who have launched investigations into her whereabouts.
Those close to Rebecca don’t believe she got back on the Wightlink ferry to return home and say her disappearance is out of character.
UPDATE @ 11:09 – Police have now launched an appeal to find 40-year-old Rebecca Allan. The last confirmed sighting of Rebecca is now 00:10 on Sunday morning.
Rebecca is described as white, of medium build and 5ft 9″ tall. She has shoulder length light brown hair and was last seen wearing brown boots, navy blue jeans, a grey shirt and a navy blue Henri Lloyd sailing jacket.
At the time of her disappearance she was carrying a small red zip-up faux-leather purse and was wearing a silver twist bangle on her right wrist. She is said to have a distinctive tiger tattoo on her stomach.
