COACH WITH KIDS ON BOARD INVOLVED IN KITE HILL CRASH

A coach carrying children home from school has been involved in a collision with a car at Kite Hill in Wootton. Traffic is backing up to past Quarr Abbey as a result of the smash between an Island Coach Services coach and a green Mini. Police were called to the scene between Wootton and Fishbourne at 17:02. It has been confirmed that no injuries have been sustained. Police and Island Roads are working to clear debris from the carriageway. Motorists should avoid the area for the time being as traffic remains heavy in both directions.
