A section of Culver Cliff fell and produced a cloud of dust, prompting a call out for HM Coastguard yesterday afternoon (Monday).
Members of the public reported the fall at around 16:20.
A cloud of dust could be seen from Yaverland car park following the collapse at the start of Culver Cliff, close to Red Cliff.
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to the scene in the interests of public safety. They conducted a search of the area to ensure there were no casualties and informed any members of the public in the local area of the danger.
Islanders are being urged to stay well away from potential landslides or rockfalls.
