A car has rolled onto its side causing a partial obstruction on the main road through the village of Havenstreet this afternoon (Tuesday).
Police and paramedics are on the scene outside Northbrooke House care home where a Toyota has ended up crashing and coming to rest on its side.
No one has been trapped or seriously injured in the collision. The car is believed to have been parked at the time of the crash.
Emergency services were called at just before 15:30.
The road remains open under direction of Police officers but there are some minor delays.
UPDATE – Island Echo understands that the vehicle was parked at the time of the incident. A second vehicle crashed into the Toyota, pushing it up the bank and onto its side.

So…how does it end up on its roof?
oops, I meant ‘side’??
Was that the blackish car parked under the trees in the shade, you need to pay attention to spot it.
You need to pay attention to drive
Explain please??? Parked car rolls onto its side……………………
“Handbrake”
Really need to re write this as people presume the car on side was driving when in fact the car on its side was a parked car
Badly written article
Very poorly written article. As mentioned by others a parked car doesn’t crash and end up on its side
No…. the parked car was hit by a passing vehicle on the back driver’s side which caused it to flip
The lady parked up and came to work, second car drove down road hitting parked car and turning it over.
as we all drive through havenstreet , what speed do you do. Just asking for a friend who drives a bit faster and clocks 28mph. how fast is the IMPACT SPEED to flip a car!!!!!
