A car has come to rest upside down on its roof in Ventnor this morning (Wednesday) after the driver ‘sneezed’ and collided with another vehicle.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are all on scene at Ocean View Road, where a Mazda 2 has ended up on its roof.
Island Echo understands the driver was heading towards town at around 09:00 when he sneezed, resulting in a collision with the rear end of a Toyota Yaris – which in turn flipped the Mazda.
2 fire crews from Shanklin and Newport are on scene and have assisted 1 male from the wreckage. They are now standing down from the incident.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are continuing to check over the casualty but he is not thought to have sustained any serious injuries.
Ocean View Road is blocked in both directions but is expected to reopen once the car has been recovered.

These little shopping trolleys that people keep crashing are not Ferrari’s, they can’t handle the road like high end performance cars.

I think I’ve sussed it.. don’t drive cars with blocked out number plates they crash or flip over … cars with clearly defined plates don’t seem to crash…. Can’t teach that
