A car has overturned and has landed on its roof on a road on the outskirts of Freshwater this morning (Tuesday).
The incident involving a silver Vauxhall Astra occurred at around 09:30 on Copse Lane, between Norton Green and Redlake Road.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are in attendance at the scene alongside officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.
Southern Vectis Route 7 buses are having to divert from Yarmouth via Wilmingham Lane, Middle Road, Afton Road to School Green Road in both directions.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
