UPDATED: Police and ambulance crews are responding to a road traffic collision involving a bus and 2 cars in Godshill this afternoon (Friday).
One vehicle, driven by a female with young passengers, has collided into the rear of a bus before then being crashed into from behind by a third vehicle.
The incident has taken place on the A3020 Shanklin Road, near to The Griffin pub between Godshill and Whitely Bank.
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in what is being described as a minor incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area with delays possible.
UPDATE @ 16:20 – The scene has now been cleared. No one has sustained any serious injuries.
According to the latest information received, the bus was no part of the collision.
