FOUND: APPEAL TO LOCATE MISSING 72-YEAR-OLD FROM NEWPORT LAUNCHED BY POLICE

Police are appealing for help in locating 72-year-old Jennifer Mendel from Newport, who hasn’t been seen since this morning (Tuesday). Jennifer was last sighted at around 08:30 in the Hunnyhill area. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary says the force is now very concerned for Jennifer’s welfare and are now asking anyone who has seen her to contact officers. Jennifer is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build. She wears glasses and has long blonde/grey, curly hair. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a gold puffer coat with a fur hood. She is also possibly carrying a gold bag.
