HAMPSHIRE Constabulary are appealing for information after reports of several thefts at Hillside hotel, Ventnor.

Flagstones and a bench from the front of the property in Mitchell Avenue were stolen sometime between 23.15 on Saturday 21st April and 06:00 on Monday 23rd April.

It’s believed whoever was responsible would have used a vehicle to move the items because of their weight.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to keep outdoor items as secure as possible, and to photograph and security mark them if they can.”
