APPEAL LAUNCHED TO LOCATE RYDE WOMAN MISSING SINCE TUESDAY

Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of missing 51-year-old Joyce Maryon from Ryde.

Joyce was last seen in Green Street, Ryde at around 23:50 on Tuesday 9th April.

Hampshire Constabulary say officers are concerned for Joyce’s welfare and are asking members of the public to keep an eye out for her.

She is described as white with pale skin, short, stocky with brown hair. Joyce may be wearing white patterned pyjamas or tracksuit trousers, a distinctive fleece with a wolf covering the back, a purple hat, and blue trainers with white soles.

UPDATE – WightSAR, the Island’s volunteer search and rescue team, have been deployed in the search for Joyce.

Its not the time to point the finger of blame. All efforts need to be directed in finding this lady and that includes the arm chair warriors
