Searches are underway and an appeal has been launched to help locate an Isle of Wight man who has gone missing whilst on holiday in the Swanage area of Dorset.
35-year-old Daniel South has been reported missing, having last been seen in the High Street, Swanage at around midday on Saturday (29th March).
Daniel is described as 6ft 4″ inches tall and of slim build with thick, dark unkempt hair and a pale complexion. He was wearing a dark green Barbour baseball cap, brown Barbour jacket, possibly with a shirt and jumper underneath, and navy blue chinos.
Dorset Police have confirmed that Daniel lives on the Isle of Wight and was staying in the area on holiday.
Inspector Chris Meade has said:
“While we have no information to indicate Daniel has come to any harm, he has not been seen for some time now and it is reported he does not have his mobile phone with him.
“We are keen to locate him and make sure that he is all right and I would urge anyone with any information regarding Daniel’s whereabouts to please contact us.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Daniel if you see this, to please make contact with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are. We all just want to check that you are OK.”
