APPEAL AFTER COMPRESSOR THEFT

AN £8,000 compressor has been stolen from a work yard in Newport.

The theft, from H.J Bennet’s yard at Bardon Vectis, St Georges Down occurred between 4th – 8th May. Police have now launched an appeal to find the culprits and to return the  Atlas Copco two-wheeled compressor.

The machine has H.J Bennett painted on the side.

Anyone with information should contact PC Jason Taylor at Newport police station on 101. Mini-Com users can call the police on 01962 875000. Information can be given anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
