ANOTHER WINDY DAY SEES SUSPENSION OF SERVICE FOR HOVERTRAVEL


UPDATED: Gusty winds on the Solent have resulted in the suspension of Hovertravel’s Ryde to Southsea service this morning (Sunday).

The adverse weather conditions mean that the hovercraft have been brought to a halt until further notice.

Today’s disruption is the latest in a string of weather-related cancellations.

An update will be provided at 10:00.

UPDATE – Services have now resumed from Ryde and Southsea.
