UPDATED: The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has landed at Bembridge Coast Hotel in Bembridge this morning (Thursday) in response to a call for assistance from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
The bright yellow and green helicopter landed in front of the Warner Lesuire Hotel near Lane End at just before 08:30.
Island Echo understands that paramedics were called to attend an unwell individual at the complex some time around 08:00.
2 local ambulance crews are on scene.
UPDATE @ 09:18 – The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance HEMS team – which are based at Thruxton – have now lifted off from Bembridge without conveying the patient.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service remains in attendance at the adults-only hotel.
