UPDATED: A number of cross-Solent services are being disrupted by the adverse weather this afternoon (Saturday).
The high winds and poor visibility have resulted in delays and cancellations in both the East and West.
Hovertravel have suspended their service until further notice, as have Scoot Ferries on their Yarmouth-Lymington route.
Red Funnel have issued a number of cancellations on their Red Jet service including the 12:15 and 13:15 from West Cowes and the 11:45 and 12:45 from Southampton.
All car ferry services are unaffected.
UPDATE @ 16:08 – Scoot Ferries have resumed their Yarmouth-Lymington route this afternoon and Red Funnel’s Red Jet service is now operating to timetable.
Hovertravel have also resumed their Ryde-Southsea service.
