Crew shortage is being blamed for a 45 minute delay on Wightlink’s Fishbourne-Portsmouth Service today (Friday).
The cross-Solent operator says that due to absence of an essential member of crew, customers travelling on the Fishbourne-Portsmouth car ferry service may experience delays of up to 45 minutes.
Those planning to travel today are being urged to continue to check in on time for their booked sailing.

Wait until Corona Virus hits the UK, few can be bothered to work now if getting the sniffles. Crime will run riot. Avoid opening parcels from China until a 28 day incubation period has elapsed, then do so outside imo. Not medical advice but have read that the germ can live on smears of poo poo for 28 days at 4c. Best to be safe, not sorry.
£85 for one way today. Shit service, ignorant staff and a monopoly….. No wonder no one want to holiday here
Plus side is it keeps off many low lives which cannot afford the fares. Check out around Portsmouth and Soton, more dregs there than here.
