42 runners took part in a ‘Let’s All Run Together’ run staged by West Wight Road Runners on Wednesday 2nd August.
Now in its 11th year, the WWRRs hosted the 28th Let’s All Run Together (LART) after high winds and rain had washed out the Cowes Week sailing and Shanklin Carnival.
These occasions give runners a chance to chat in relaxed conditions. The 42 Runners enjoyed a dry run with the sun setting over the West of the Wight with spectacular views from Freshwater Golf Club.
Isle of Wight running groups organise a run of about 5 miles with shorter routes optional in their area for others to enjoy followed by drinks and snacks.
The 1st Let’s All Run Together event was held in August 2014 as an initiative by West Wight Road Runners to bring Island Running Clubs and individual runners together for a social run.

Well done WWRR and ro island running clubs. Keep up the great events.
