Wightlink has announced that it will be running a revised timetable on its Fishbourne-Portsmouth car ferry service tomorrow (Wednesday) due to staffing issues. It’s said that the absence of an essential crew member is to blame for the disruption to customers. All affected customers have been contacted, says the cross-Solent operator, but the company has not been forthcoming with publishing a list of affected sailings. Wightlink sincerely apologises for the inconvenience, but says they have been unable to source short-notice cover so have taken this action as a last resort.
