Shelley Sprack has won the Isle of Wight’s 9th shooting gold medal in the ISSF 10m Air Pistol.
Shelley scored 222.5, ahead of Jersey’s Sarah Chalker (219.9) in silver medal position and the Isle of Man’s Kathryn Holden (197.6), who took bronze.
Shelley has now amassed 1 gold and 4 silver medals in all shooting competitions.
Our Island has won an amazing total of 23 medals in shooting events: 9 gold, 10 silver and 4 bronze.
The Isle of Wight currently lies 5th in the overall medals table with a total of 37 podium places: 15 gold, 15 silver and 7 bronze.
