The Holistic Emporium on Sandown High Street is set to be showcased as the set of Small Town Witches an upcoming pilot being showcased on Amazon Prime.
The story began with the Emporium receiving a call from Dadina Sagger of Isle of Wight Film Fixers CIC, asking if we’d like to be part of the pilot.
Owner David replied::
“We couldn’t say “yes” fast enough!”
David continued the story…
“The day of filming was nothing short of extraordinary. Imagine our little shop buzzing with lights, cameras, and the kind of tech you usually only see in behind-the-scenes specials.
“For us, it was the first time being around a film production, and the excitement in the air was palpable. We got to meet the talented cast, all drawn from local Isle of Wight talent, as well as the brilliant Melissa Graves, the writer, producer, and director behind the project.
“Melissa’s US production company, The Last Place You Look Limited, is bringing to life a captivating story about a team of witches battling to protect a powerful magical book from falling into the hands of evil forces.

David is hopeful the pilot will lead to a full Amazon series:
“If the pilot is picked up by Amazon Prime, a 6-episode series is planned, all to be filmed right here on the Isle of Wight!
“This means more opportunities for our island’s incredible talent to shine and more chances for local businesses like ours to be part of something truly special.”
