RED JET CANCELLATIONS FOR WEDNESDAY AS GENERATOR FAULT HITS

Red Funnel’s run of bad luck continues with technical issues now affecting the hi-speed Red Jet service between West Cowes-Southampton, resulting in at least 6 cancellations this morning (Wednesday). The cross-Solent operator says that a technical issue with the generator on board Red Jet 7 has forced the cancellations. The 06:05, 07:15 and 08:25 crossings from Southampton have all been pulled, alongside the 06:40, 08:25 and 09:00 sailings from West Cowes. It’s unclear at this moment in time if there will be any further disruption as the day progresses.
