Power tools and an electric bike were stolen during a burglary in Thorley overnight. A gate to a residential property on Main Road was opened sometime between 21:00 last night and 02:30 this morning (Thursday) before a locked garage was broken into. Island Echo is told that a padlock to the garage was cut off with a number of items then taken from inside, including 3 chainsaws, a battery chainsaw, 2 drills, a drill impactor and several charges. An electric bike was also stolen but was found earlier today at the end of Broad Lane. Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of the stolen items, or the identity of those involved, should contact Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary on 101 quoting 44240281928.
