UPDATED: Firefighters from Sandown and Shanklin are attending an outbuilding fire in Luccombe this afternoon (Wednesday).
Two appliances from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at Bourne Hall Country Hotel at just gone 12:30 after two outbuildings caught fire, which has caused flames to in turn spread to nearby shrubbery.
The fire, which at its height sent smoke billowing into the skies, has now been brought under control however crews remain on scene.
No one has been injured in the incident.
UPDATED: Cylinders have been removed from the outbuilding as a precaution. Firefighters are damping down.
The hotel remains open as normal this afternoon.
