International athlete Nick Percy has taken gold for the Isle of Wight in the discus at the 2023 NatWest Island Games.
Scottish record holder Nick – who was born north of the border but was raised on the Island – threw a distance of 58.33 metres.
His throw has set a new Island Games record for the event.
Jersey’s Zane Duquemin took silver with a throw of 56.23, with Saaremaa’s Gevin Paas winning bronze with 49.75.
Nick’s gold is the 13th the Isle of Wight has won in the games to date and is the 2nd the Athletics team has won.
