A medical emergency on Wightlink’s Yarmouth-Lymington ferry service is causing delays of up to 2 hours this morning (Monday). Wight Light has been unable to depart from the port of Yarmouth owing to a medical emergency on board. The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service is in attendance. As a result of the ongoing situation, Wight Sky – which departed from Lymington earlier this morning – has been left bobbing around mid-Solent. Wightlink initially advised of delays of 1 hour but subsequently increased that to 90 minutes. Now, the cross-Solent operator is advising passengers of delays of up to 2 hours.
