Isle of Wight swimmer Abigail Lacey has won the Isle of Wight’s 1st gold medal in the pool by topping the podium in the 100 metres individual medley.
Abi took gold in a time of 1:05.09, 0.32 seconds ahead of Isle of Man swimmer Laura Kinley, who took silver.
Guernsey’s Laura Le Cras rounded off the podium with her bronze place.
Abigail’s gold is her 2nd medal of the games, having already won silver in the 200m individual medley.
She is the sister of World Champion Zac Lacey, who won 5 medals at the World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships in Albufeira, Portugal back in October.
