FOUND: FEARS GROW FOR MISSING 40-YEAR-OLD KEVIN HORWOOD

Concerns are growing for the welfare of 40-year-old Kevin Horwood, who has gone missing from Newport. Kevin is described as white, about 5ft 6in tall, slim, with short dark brown hair. He has not been seen since leaving his home address at about 15:30 today (Tuesday), when he was wearing a dark blue Superdry hoodie, black jeans and white and black trainers. A search for Kevin has been launched with officers searching the area around Carisbrooke. WightSAR have been deployed to assist, and the National Police Air Service Helicopter from Bournemouth carried out an aerial search earlier tonight, as previously reported by Island Echo. If anyone has any information about Kevin’s whereabouts, call 999 immediately, quoting reference 44240357912 UPDATE @ 21:35 – Kevin has been located, Police have confirmed. The search has been stood down.
