A Sandown hotelier who admitted to making and then distributing indecent images of children is to be sentenced in September. Stuart Pettifer, of Station Avenue in Sandown, admitted 3x making indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child and 1x distributing an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court earlier this week (16th July). The court heard how a total of 14x Category A images (5 still and 9 moving), 12x Category B (7 still and 5 moving) and 23x Category C images (20 still and 3 moving) were found. Pettifer distributed a total of 1x Category C image. All of the images were found on the 57-year-old’s computer. Due to the severity of the charges, the case was sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court where Pettifer will next appear on 17th September this year. Pettifer was also ordered to visit Newport Police Station within 3 days to sign the Sex Offenders Register.

Dirty Bastard.knew there was something dodgy about him.
Wow .. You knew him. Why was he strange? You didn’t report him! Why?
Is he still running a hotel for families?
the website of the fernside guesthouse in sandown still says that it is owned by stuart pettifer and his wife
bet she is divorcing him, the hotel is basically finished as no one will want to book into a hotel run by a nonce.
The Isle of Wight needs to be renamed “Isle of Dirty Old Men”.
Older generation are getting more worse
not really king kev, most of them that are getting caught have been at it their whole lives – you dont think someone in their 60’s upwards just suddenly decides to nonce up a kid do you – these filthy animals have been at it for decades. It is just that technology allows the old bill, to flush them out and kids are taught better these days as well to speak out instead of hiding abuse.
Terrible English. It should read ‘Older generation are getting worserer.’
