COW LOOSE ON COWLEAZE – POLICE RESPOND TO MAIN ROAD

A cow is running free on Cowleaze Hill between Shanklin and Ventnor this lunchtime (Sunday). Police are responding to the potential hazard to motorists on the main road connecting Shanklin and Ventnor. 2 units are on scene with officers working to moooove the young black and white cow to safety. It’s thought the animal has escaped from a nearby field. The incident began at around 12:40.
