A drink driver from Bembridge who crashed his car into a bus and a BMW has been handed a 16-month driving ban. Taliesin Tallack, 28, of Dennett Road in Bembridge, admitted drink driving on the 3rd July when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court last week. As previously reported by Island Echo, Tallack was travelling out of Bembridge towards St Helens at around 19:00 when he crashed his Nissan Micra into a Route 8 Southern Vectis bus and a BMW. The crash took place near The Pilot Boat Inn. Emergency services were called to the scene, but luckily no injuries were sustained. The 28-year-old was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £700. He was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £280 surcharge.

So he gets short ban, what is the cost to other people involved in his disregard for others, in money and time in sorting out all the inconvenience it brings. Plus the trauma of being innocent in the crash.
Will be out driving soon, with no licence. Police have no time to pull people over on spot checks. He’ll only get caught when he crashes again.
And what happened to the weapons that the police found in the car after he left the scene??
Time to bang up these idiot drivers
