UPDATED: YET MORE TECHNICAL ISSUES RESULT IN RED FUNNEL FERRY CANCELLATIONS

Red Funnel has cancelled at least 2 of its vehicle ferry sailings on its East Cowes-Southampton route this morning (Wednesday) due to technical issues. The 10:00 sailing from Southampton and the 11:30 sailing from East Cowes have both been pulled. It is due to an issue on board Red Falcon. It’s unclear at this time if there will be any further cancellations throughout the day. The cross-Solent operator apologises for any inconvenience to your journey. UPDATE @ 11:55 – Red Funnel says the service has returned to timetable, indicating no further cancellations are expected.
