SATURDAY RED JET CANCELLATIONS DUE TO A LACK OF STAFF

Red Funnel has cancelled a number of its hi-speed Red Jet sailings today (Saturday) due to a lack of available staff. The cross-Solent operator advised customers late last night that a number of timetabled crossings on the West Cowes-Southampton route would not be running today. The 09:00, 10:20, 11:30, 12:40 and 13:50 sailings from West Cowes have been cancelled alongside the 08:25, 09:35, 10:55, 12:05 and 13:15 sailings from Southampton. It’s unclear if the lack of staff will hamper other sailings this weekend.
