DOOR TROUBLES LEAD TO YET MORE RED FUNNEL FERRY CANCELLATIONS

An issue with the stern doors on board Red Funnel’s Red Falcon has led to the cancellation of at least 2 vehicle ferry sailings this morning (Thursday). The cross-Solent operator has confirmed that the 11:00 from Southampton has been cancelled, as has the 12:30 from East Cowes. It’s unclear at this time if the technical issue will lead to any further cancellations throughout the day. Delays are likely.
