In 2021, Light up the Wight saw a record number of entries – 37 in total – with Whitecross Lane scooping the top spot, which is a strong achievement for a relatively new display.
More than 2,300 votes were cast by members of the public throughout December, demonstrating that the passion for Christmas lights is stronger than ever before.
More than £7,500 was raised for charity by those displays taking part in Light up the Wight 2021.
Southern Vectis was able to once again run their annual tour bus, which proved to be a sell-out success. Thanks to the Island’s bus operator for sponsoring Light up the Wight, showing their continued support for the competition and map.
