Stardom hopefuls have descended on Newport today as the X Factor auditions get underway in the town.
Locals queued from 09:30 this morning before the doors were opened at the Quay Arts centre, where auditions are being held until 17:00.
For the first time this year, the ITV 1 show has included the Isle of Wight in it’s mobile auditions schedule, allowing potential singing stars to audition for the hit show if they are unable to reach the main auditions through the country.
