Bank Holiday spirits are set to be dampened as the Met Office issue a yellow weather warning for heavy rain.
The unseasonable downpours are expected to affect many southern areas of Britain at times during Bank Holiday Monday, including the Isle of Wight. Strong winds a possible additional factor, especially around the Island’s coastline.
There may be some impacts to holiday traffic and the many events taking place across the garden isle, including the St Helen’s Sports and Carnival.
