031113UPDATED: The Met Office have forecast further unsettled weather for the Island with a heavy rain warning in place for Friday into Saturday.

The yellow ‘be aware’ warning is in place from midday on Friday until early on Saturday morning, just 5 days after the Island was subject to 99mph winds and torrential rain as the St Jude storm hit.

15 to 30mm of rain is likely, with gusts of up to 60mph to be expected in some areas. Coastal flooding is also a possibility.
